Learn about Textiles – from Fibre to T-shirt

1 October, 2019 by asas

Circle of clothing from earth to earth

Last week we talked about how cotton production affects the environment. During the autumn, we will continue to describe the consequences of the textile industry’s manufacturing processes, including how chemicals affect the entire ecosystem. Of course, we also tell you how we can benefit from that knowledge and be inspired to rethink!

Before we start that dissemination of knowledge, follow a recap of a series of posts we posted here this spring – Learn about textiles. In it, we describe how fabrics are made, from fibre to a finished garment. A helper to sort out the concepts and understand the whole process. How each step goes, and in what ways they affect the environment and the climate.

You can follow it in the next few days on our Instagram  “”””
