EARTH

Earth is made up of different spheres that provide the conditions for life on our planet—enabling the complex and amazing network of organisms and ecosystems that are essential to support and sustain all life. Here, you can read more about all these elements and the impact our use of natural resources has on the planet and its ecosystems.

Tellus is the Latin name for the planet Earth. Tellus or Terra means “Earth”; the name originates from the Roman goddess Tellus, also known as Tellus Mater, or “Mother Earth”.
Tellus is like our home—a beautiful planet with oceans, continents, and air that keeps everything alive. It has different environments, like rainforests and deserts, where many plants and animals live. As the caretakers of Tellus, we have a job to keep everything in balance and ensure everyone on Earth is safe and happy. As the caretakers of Tellus, it’s our job to take care of it, keep everything in balance, and make sure everyone and everything on Earth is okay.
