Seersucker is a fabric with a puckered surface that gives it an airy and cool feel. The weaving technique usually consists of two contrasting stripes, one produced by alternately tensioning and releasing the warp yarns, while the other is conventionally woven.
Seersucker is usually made from cotton, and it is used mainly for bedding and summer clothing because of its cooling properties and high breathability.
