Bouclé textile ReThink

Bouclé comes from the French word for “curled” or “loop,” which describes the fabric’s characteristic texture. Bouclé fabric is used to make clothing, especially coats, jackets, suits, and dresses, but it is also used for interior decoration, such as cushions and bedspreads [1].

Bouclé is often made from wool and cotton, but we can also use linen and silk. The fashion house Chanel is particularly famous for its bouclé jacket from the 1950s [2].
