Bleaching

A process to reduce or remove natural or artificial impurities or colours in fabrics in preparation for dyeing or to obtain bright white colours for finished textiles. Chemicals that undergo the bleaching process are sodium hypochlorite (bleach), chlorine dioxide, and other oxidizers or reducers.
